Dodge City Area Home Sales Rose in September: Total home sales in the Dodge City area rose by 64.3% last month to 23 units, compared to 14 units in September 2021. Total sales volume was $4.9 million, up 84.6% from a year earlier. The median sale price in September was $230,000, up from $195,250 a year earlier. Homes that sold in September were typically on the market for 40 days and sold for 100.0% of their list prices. 

Dodge City Area Active Listings Up at End of September: The total number of active listings in the Dodge City area at the end of September was 85 units, up from 52 at the same point in 2021. This represents a 3.4 months’ supply of homes available for sale. The median list price of homes on the market at the end of September was $179,500.During September, a total of 21 contracts were written down from 26 in September 2021. At the end of the month, there were 20 contracts still pending.
