Dodge City Area Home Sales Fell in September

Total home sales in the Dodge City area fell last month to 11 units, compared to 32 units in September 2020. Total sales volume was $2.0 million, down from a year earlier.

The median sale price in September was $195,000, up from $161,250 a year earlier. Homes that sold in September were typically on the market for 37 days and sold for 101.2% of their list prices.

Dodge City Area Active Listings Down at End of September

The total number of active listings in the Dodge City area at the end of September was 52 units, down from 88 at the same point in 2020. This represents a 2.6 months’ supply of homes available for sale. The median list price of homes on the market at the end of September was $98,750.

During September, a total of 23 contracts were written up from 20 in September 2020. At the end of the month, there were 30 contracts pending, compared to 9 at the end of September 2020.
