DODGE CITY MARKET OVERVIEW JULY 2019

Total home sales in the Dodge City area rose by 35.0% last month to 27 units, compared to 20 units in July 2018. Total sales volume was $3.2 million, up 4.8% from a year earlier.
The median sale price in July was $110,000, down from
$145,000 a year earlier. Homes that sold in July were typically on the market for 77 days and sold for 97.0% of their list prices.

Dodge City Area Active Listings Up at End of July

The total number of active listings in the Dodge City area at the end of July was 147 units, up from 116 at the same point in 2018. This represents a 7.6 months’ supply of homes available for sale. The median list price of homes on the market at the end of July was $130,000.
During July, a total of 10 contracts were written down from 17 in July 2018. At the end of the month, there were 13 contracts pending, compared to 6 at the end of July 2018.​
