Total home sales in the Dodge City area rose by 81.0% last month to 38 units, compared to 21 units in August 2018. Total sales volume was $5.8 million, up 85.1% from a year earlier.
The median sale price in August was $147,000, down from $150,000 a year earlier. Homes that sold in August were typically on the market for 68 days and sold for 99.8% of their list prices.
Dodge City Area Active Listings Up at End of August
The total number of active listings in the Dodge City area at the end of August was 137 units, up from 111 at the same point in 2018. This represents a 6.6 months’ supply of homes
available for sale. The median list price of homes on the market at the end of August was $130,000.
