Dodge City Area Home Sales Rose in July

Total home sales in the Dodge City area rose by 19.2% last month to 31 units, compared to 26 units in July 2020. Total sales volume was $5.8 million, up 52.7% from a year earlier.

The median sale price in July was $189,500, up from $139,500 a year earlier. Homes that sold in July were typically on the market for 47 days and sold for 100.5% of their list prices.

Dodge City Area Active Listings Down at End of July

The total number of active listings in the Dodge City area at the end of July was 52 units, down from 94 at the same point in 2020. This represents a 2.4 months’ supply of homes
available for sale. The median list price of homes on the market at the end of July was $119,950.

During July, a total of 14 contracts were written down from 21 in July 2020. At the end of the month, there were 18 contracts pending, compared to 13 at the end of July 2020.
