Dodge City Area Home Sales Rose in June

Total home sales in the Dodge City area rose by 33.3% last month to 32 units, compared to 24 units in June 2020. Total sales volume was $6.3 million, up 49.0% from a year earlier.

The median sale price in June was $173,250, up from $172,000 a year earlier. Homes that sold in June were typically on the market for 54 days and sold for 100.0% of their list prices.

Dodge City Area Active Listings Down at End of June

The total number of active listings in the Dodge City area at the end of June was 61 units, down from 92 at the same point in 2020. This represents a 2.8 months’ supply of homes
available for sale. The median list price of homes on the market at the end of June was $134,900.

During June, a total of 14 contracts were written down from 30 in June 2020. At the end of the month, there were 15 contracts pending, compared to 19 at the end of June 2020.
