Dodge City Area Home Sales Fell in March

Total home sales in the Dodge City area fell last month to 12 units, compared to 22 units in March 2018. Total sales volume was $1.8 million, down from a year earlier.
The median sale price in March was $148,500, up from $142,750 a year earlier. Homes that sold in March were typically on the market for 91 days and sold for 99.3% of their list prices.

Dodge City Area Active Listings Up at End of March

The total number of active listings in the Dodge City area at the end of March was 127 units, up from 115 at the same point in 2018. This represents a 7.5 months’ supply of homes available for sale. The median list price of homes on the market at the end of March was $149,000.
During March, a total of 6 contracts were written down from 16 in March 2018. At the end of the month, there were 10 contracts pending, compared to 4 at the end of March 2018.
